smile like you mean it :)

So I’m up early today because I didn’t finish my paper last night. Writing this paper has made me realize that time is precious. Four years ago I didn’t think that senior year would come by so fast, and that everything in between would just become vague memories. How time seems to fly… Four years ago I was excited just to have survived freshman year. But I have (thankfully) somewhat matured into a more compassionate and productive young adult. If it weren’t for my parents choosing to surround me with the Buddhist values, I think I would be a much different person. I am thankful to them.

Sooooo…. I should be doing homework, but yet again, I am distracted. I have to write a 2-3 page paper about time in the novels Slaughterhouse Five and The Life and Times of Michael K. So right now I have one page, but I seem to be going nowhere. My mind keeps wandering, I think it might be in Africa right now. gah! I better finish.
